Boisterous reels, sultry tangos, swirling waltzes… For Cairngorms Orchestra’s winter concert, we focus on the rhythms and atmosphere of dance styles from all over the world. Featuring excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and a complete performance of the rambunctious Four Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold, our concert will culminate in the much-loved Skater’s Waltz by Waldteufel, as we look towards the cold, crisp weather of the Advent season.
